The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) today announced Arlene Dickinson as a featured keynote speaker for GBTA Conference 2019 - Toronto, taking place April 15-17, 2019 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.  

“It will be a true pleasure to welcome yet another iconic Canadian, Arlene Dickinson, to the stage at our 15th annual Toronto conference,” said Nancy Tudorache, GBTA Director of Operations - Canada. “Ms. Dickinson is a household name having been on CBC’s Dragons’ Den, where she was well known for her entrepreneurial spirit. We look forward to the insights she will share with attendees on how to stand out in today’s competitive world.”

Dickinson is one of Canada’s most renowned independent marketing communications entrepreneurs. As CEO of Venture Communications, her creative and strategic approach has turned the company into a powerhouse with a blue chip client list. She is also the CEO of District Ventures Capital, a fund investing in Canadian companies in the food and health sectors. Dickinson is best known to Canadians as one of the venture capitalists on the award-winning series Dragons’ Den, an investor on The Big Decision, and a judge on Recipe to Riches. She is the author of two bestselling books – Persuasion, and her most recent bestselling release, All In.
