International passenger traffic up a robust 23% with August showing largest increase in overall passenger traffic
New service between Los Angeles and Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta and El Bajío, to start November 23rd.
Expanded service increases daily flights between New York and Mexico City to four.
Aviation Capital Group LLC announced today that it has signed long-term lease agreements with Interjet for 10 new Airbus A320 Family aircraft. These aircraft are from ACG’s order book commitment with Airbus. The first aircraft is expected to be delivered in July 2017.
Interjet announced this week it has taken possession of the first of three Airbus A320neos, the latest version of the A320 line of passenger aircraft. These three aircraft, along with 48 additional Airbus aircraft in Interjet’s fleet, will service both international and intra-Mexico destinations.
Interjet announced it has added additional non-stop flights between New York’s JFK airport and Mexico City effective immediately. These additional flights operate Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday complementing two other daily flights Interjet operates between the two cities.
Mexico-Los Angeles flight will start October 20th, Mexico-Las Vegas will start November 10th, while the flight from Mexico to Chicago will begin on November 17th. This represents an offering of 5,250 weekly seats to these destinations.

The airline will now offer passengers a choice between two daily flights Monday through Friday and one daily flight on Saturdays and Sundays.
Interjet has formally announced the start of operations for its direct Monterrey - Houston – Monterrey service starting on October 23, with two daily flights Monday through Friday, and one daily flight on Saturdays and Sundays. This new service strengthens the company's plan of expansion and growth, thus consolidating its presence in the American market.
