Leading Tourism Industry Conference Seeking Best Practice Case Studies on Ecotourism and Sustainable Business Strategies

The Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism Conference (ESTC), now in its fifth year, is a unique annual tourism industry conference providing practical solutions and innovative ideas to help green the tourism industry. Organized by The International Ecotourism Society (TIES), this year's ESTC is being held from September 19-21, 2011, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA. The ESTC organizers are currently seeking quality submissions of speaker proposals highlighting key ecotourism and sustainable tourism best practice case studies.



Green Hotel Event comes to Bentonville Arkansas

The Bentonville Convention & Visitors Bureau and EcoGreenHotel have teamed up to bring the local hotel community an educational look inside the Green Hospitality movement. Palma De Majorca: First Coastal Destination to Implement UNWTO Energy Initiative

The agreement, signed by UNWTO Executive Director, Márcio Favilla, and the President of the Palma Municipal Tourism Institute (IMTUR), Ms. Joana María Borràs, represents a recognition and contribution to Palma’s effort in building a sustainable destination. This UNWTO-led initiative aims to help small and medium sized hotels across the European Union to increase their use of energy efficiency and renewable energy.

UCS Calls on ASTA to Assist in Promoting Green Travel Guide
