Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) recorded a 15 percent increase of its system wide sales to USD 28 billion and a 12 percent increase in company revenue to USD 1.9 billion.

Travelzoo Inc., a global Internet media company, today announced financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011, with revenue of $37.6 million, an increase of 34% year-over-year. Operating profit was $7.6 million, up 29% year-over-year. Net income was $4.9 million, with diluted net income per share (EPS) of $0.30, up from $0.20 in the prior-year period.

System passenger traffic increased 17.2% as capacity rose 15.6%. As a result, the Company’s load factor for the month increased 1.2 points to 83.4%. International passenger traffic accounted for approximately 65.5% of the month’s total passenger traffic.

January through May 2012 ticket sales totalled $39.3 billion, compared to $36.7 billion in 2011, and $34 billion in 2010.

From January through October 2012, ticket sales totalled $73.7 billion, compared to $71 billion in 2011, and $67 billion in 2010.
