Frontier Airlines today announced new nonstop seasonal service between its Denver, Colo. (DEN), hub and Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ) with weekly nonstop flights beginning on Dec. 22, 2013.
”With the launch of service to Montego Bay, Frontier will be the only carrier offering nonstop service from Denver to Jamaica,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. “We’re confident that travelers will love our friendly, low fare service to this popular destination.”
With the new service, Jamaica is added to Frontier’s growing list of nonstop international destinations from Denver. Frontier currently provides nonstop service from Denver to five destinations in Mexico; San Jose and Liberia, Costa Rica; and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
“We are very pleased Frontier Airlines is adding new service between Denver and Montego Bay," said Denver International Airport’s Manager of Aviation Kim Day. “Denver's first ever nonstop service to Jamaica means that Denver International Airport will have service to 23 international destinations in nine countries, increasing the strength of Denver as a connecting hub."
Following is the schedule for Frontier’s Montego Bay service:
Denver-Montego Bay (beginning Dec. 22, 2013)

This new service will operate on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft, which offer more customer amenities, including five rows of comfortable STRETCH seating with an additional six inches of legroom, and the airline’s SELECT seating product. Frontier’s website, FlyFrontier.com, offers the guaranteed best fares and is the only place STRETCH and SELECT seating is available at the time of booking.
