Disney World turns up heat on unions |

Theme park operator says it will not extend current contract beyond Thursday deadline for pact vote. |
Disney World unions will vote Thursday on a slightly modified contract proposal, and Walt Disney Co. has declined to extend the current contract beyond the voting date, the unions said in a statement.
The six unions representing about 40 percent of the Florida theme park's 54,000 workers rejected a company offer Nov. 11 and authorized union leadership to call a strike if they chose.
