Interjet has formally announced the start of operations for its direct Monterrey - Houston Monterrey service starting on October 23, with two daily flights Monday through Friday, and one daily flight on Saturdays and Sundays. This new service strengthens the company's plan of expansion and growth, thus consolidating its presence in the American market.
The nonstop routes previously served by wholly owned subsidiary AirTran Airways now operate daily between Orange County/Santa Ana and San Jose del Cabo/Los Cabos, Mexico, and between Cancun and both Atlanta and Baltimore/Washington.
Air Canada today announced that it will start a new, non-stop flights between Toronto and Panama City beginning December 17, 2014. With the launch of the three-times weekly, year-round service, Air Canada will be the only Canadian network carrier operating between Canada and Panama.
The companies already have an interline agreement and the expansion of the partnership through the codeshare agreement will initially allow Etihad Airways to include its code on flights operated by GOL, giving its customers a greater number of connections for destinations in Brazil and South America.
