The new flight numbers are CA887/8. From May 2 to June 30, 2015, four flights will be offered per week on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. From July 1 to October 24, the flights will be increased to daily.
Air China will start Beijing-Melbourne four-times weekly nonstop service from June 1, 2015, becoming the only carrier that offers Beijing-Melbourne nonstop service. At the same time, the carrier will continue its Shanghai-Melbourne nonstop service.
The four-time weekly Beijing - Minsk - Budapest services CA721/722 are operated on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The outbound flight departs from Beijing at 13:00 Beijing time and arrives in Minsk at 16:50 local time and in Budapest at 18:20 local time.

Air China and Kunming Airlines signed a codeshare cooperation agreement in the city of Kunming on September 3, 2014, and the two carriers will start code share in the form of free marketing on each other's selected domestic flights from September 15, 2014.

Air Chinas new nonstop service (CA 818) departs from Washington Dulles International (IAD) to Beijing (PEK) at 5:00 PM local time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. It arrives in Beijing the next day at 6:40 PM local time. CA 817 departs Beijing on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 12:45 PM local time and arrives at IAD on the same day at 2:35 PM local time. Beijing is 13 hours ahead of Washington, D.C.
