Hotel Rates Fall and Airfare Climbs as Thanksgiving Nears

The most recent Thanksgiving data report from Travelocity(R) shows that while airfare is on the rise for the Thanksgiving holiday, hotel rates are falling fast. When compared to five weeks ago, average domestic airfare rose $10 while domestic hotel rates dropped $16 per night on average.

Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., a subsidiary of Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. (AMEX:HA) , today announced its systemwide traffic statistics for the month of November and year-to-date (see chart below).
